Stepping into western wear, Mulmul has launched a hew line of loose fit yet tailored separates in pure white hues, the brand announced on Facebook. The collection’s simple colour palette is contrasted by its delicate detailing which renders the garments as luxury pieces.
The collection has a mix of floral and geometric detailing and is designed for the summer season. Notable items include long-line waistcoats and cropped trousers featuring geometric cutouts.
Mulmul is known for its highly feminine kurta sets featuring lace details, pastel hues, and delicate motifs. The brand will still primarily focus on its traditional wear and recently launched its Ramadan collection of 100% cotton kurta sets in black with white prints on.
Launching as an e-commerce brand in 2018, Mulmul has ambitious brick-and mortar expansion plans for 2022. The brand plans to open seven new stores to bring its store total to 11, Mulmul’s CEO Harsh Modi told FashionNetwork.com in January. The brand also plans to continue to expand online and follow an omni-channel approach.
