Mulmul is a type of extremely soft and fine muslin fabric that is woven in India with the use of pure Pima cotton.
All our fabrics are specially engineered to retain the softness and strength of the original mulmul that was worn exclusively by royalty in ancient times.
To make sure that only the highest quality of mulmul is used, we use the classic, old-time way to test the fabric: The Wedding Ring Test.
The purity of mulmul can be tested by pulling the fabric through a wedding ring.
Since Pima cotton is a naturally flexible and smooth fabric, it will easily pull through without any difficulty, in contrast to artificial fabrics that may scrunch together.
